Concise Writing
Learn how to tighten your writing and reduce character and word counts to increase the content of your online and regular applications. This is important since we are submitting more applications online with limited characters, words, or pages. You can also use this technique in “regular” grant applications. Concise writing is always important, and your reviewers will appreciate it. We will cover the passive voice, prepositional phrases, and eliminating filler words; weasel words; do-nothing words; and other grammar villains. We might even have some grammar fun.
